Willets Road School

Willets Road School serves the pre-adolescent and early adolescent youngster by providing a smooth and gradual transition from the self-contained classroom of the elementary school to the more specialized, departmentalized environment of the high school. Each student is given the opportunity to improve, to expand, and to apply skills already acquired. Learning how to learn and how to apply knowledge is a prime focus of the middle school. The middle school child is offered many opportunities for experimentation and exploration, both in and out of the classroom. Each youngster is encouraged to develop an increasing sense of personal worth and a sense of responsibility.
