Amityville Union Free School District is made up of three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. The District includes the village of Amityville, and unincorporated towns Oyster Bay and Babylon. District population remains small with totals around 20,000 residents and about 3,200 pupils attend the District each year. The District Board of Education is made up of 7 members who can hold a seat for the term of three years.
