Sagaponack School District

In 1712, South Hampton town was planned and divided into 15 school districts, from which Sagaponack School District received the number 10 of the list. The first district's schoolhouse was built in 1776 measuring only 20 feet by 25 feet, moving later to another property until the third and actual building, was built in 1885.

Both, the Sagaponack School District and its community are committed to the belief that all children have the right to be provided the opportunity to achieve excellence in educational pursuits.
