Wainscott Common School District
The Wainscott School District is southwest corner of the Town of East Hampton located on the eastern end of Long Island, New York. The mission of this district is instilling in all the students a sense of community and responsibility towards one another, with older students helping the younger and participating together in extracurricular activities.
Parents and community members also provide additional help towards the excellence in education. Wainscott Common School District is home of the only public one-room Elementary School operating in New York State.
The Wainscott School District has planned to purchase the development rights too much of the remaining farmland south of the highway to integrate a Girl Scout Camp to its extracurricular educational activities.
Estimated figures reveals that 93.3% of the population 25 years and over in Wainscott has and education of High School or higher, 38.8% has a Bachelor's degree or higher, and 19.1% Graduate or got a Professional Degree. |
