Academics are balanced with the social, emotional, and physical needs of the adolescent. The team of teachers and administrators work together to provide a learning environment that promotes high academic standards, intellectual growth, and a climate in which students feel secure, understood and accepted - helping them make the transition from elementary to high school. The Middle School offers a comprehensive technology program. In addition to state-of-the-art computer labs and SMART Boards, our school environment now offers wireless conectivity. Students in grades six through eight are scheduled for a 20-week computer literacy course. In addition, middle school students are scheduled for instruction in the new installed ScanTEK lab that integrates math, science, and technology. Throughout the year, middle school students are involved in core-related interdisciplinary theme days enhanced by parents working with teachers. Accelerated courses are provided in math, science and the humanities and math and reading labs are available for students to receive extra support. A full music and arts program is also available.
