Quogue School District
Located in a quiet Hampton community, Quogue School District is about 60 miles outside of New York City, and provides education and services to a population of approximately 442 students from Kindergarten through Sixth Grade, in a nurturing learning environment.
The mission of the Quogue School District is committed to the concept of the least restrictive environment to allow for maximum contact and participation with non-disabled students, providing support services for them in order to succeed in education. Besides the Elementary School, the district has programs such as pre-kindergarten art, kindergarten computer, reading, CSE and Spanish.
Additionally, all grades offer complementary facilities and activities, including First Grade library, Second Grade music, Third Grade physical education and Health, Fourth Grade reading, Fifth Grade Wojtas, Fifth Grade Charos resource and Sixth Grade nurse.
Early intervention in a child’s physical, emotional, and intellectual growth, results in a cohesive educational plan to increase his/her success in adulthood, recognizing the necessity for parental support and collaborative work with school's staff. |
