John J. Daly Elementary School

John J. Daly Elementary School has demonstrated a time-honored tradition of service to Port Washington. Established in 1927, we are a culturally diverse learning community where the professional staff, working in partnership with parents, strive to maintain a unique learning environment, one in which:

- Mutual respect among children and adults is as much a part of our standards as literacy

- The individual interests and the creative outlets of teachers are balanced with the goal of meeting and exceeding the district and state learning standards

- There is a recognition of the individuality of every child and the common needs of all children

At Daly School, we embrace the challenges of the future while we continue to cherish and celebrate the traditions of the past.
