Pros and cons- I am new to this school it is clean and the sports program seems to be run well. I dont think their is enough security because kids are leaving the school for lunch who are not old enough and no one is noticing. My child has an Italian teacher that no one in the class can understand. went from a 100 honors average in middle school to i dont know what now probably 80's very unfair. I think kids at this age should be taught over and over again about the dangers of the computer sites and things they do on their because I hear over and over again the dumb things these kids do there. The jail across the street should be a regular trip for these kids every year to help try to keep them out of trouble because Many parents have no idea of the things their children are doing. I am fortunate that my child keeps me aware of most of what they do and I try to be there for my child no matter what. All of the children I have met in this town seem to be smart and athletic thanks to the school system I'm sure but the school test scores should be much higher for the price we pay. There is also favoritism and too many family members in the schools of the kids causing them to always make the sports teams even move up when they are far from the best. 9th graders unless they are so amazing should not be playing any varsity just because they have a family member in the school system or older sibling on the team. It doesnt show the help the other kids in any way. My child never gets alot of homework and very rarely has test. Also when my child does, the school doesnt require or her teachers dont require a signature on them so we parents have no idea. We need to be more informed. At this stage we are not at the school as we were in grade / middle school years help us out a little teachers WE NEED TO KNOW. If my kid isnt doing the right thing tell me, If the grades are low tell me these teachers for what they get paid our children should be bring home 90's not 70's especially when they never got those grades in the past. |
