Malverne School District
Town of Hempstead, Nassau County, New York, is the official full name of Malverne Union Free School District.
Popularly known just as Malverne School District, it is located in an area which includes portions of the different villages nearby to each other, including West Hempstead, Rockville Centre, Lynbrook, and the unincorporated areas of North Lynbrook and Malverne from where it takes the name.
This school district holds the spirit to benefit to the utmost degree, every child who enters in the school public system, providing different opportunities for educational development ranging from a full-day Kindergarten classes, to full-time school attendance.
By giving the opportunity and proper environment for the cultivation of scholarship, health and character, Malverne School District encourages the activities leading children to a good citizenship in adulthood, including the project SAVE.
As required by the correlative Law, Safe Schools Against Violence in Education (SAVE), provides health, safety and security of both students and staff, addressing risk reduction and prevention to a variety of emergencies which may occur in school buildings inside Malverne School District. |
