Mineola School District
Truly inspirational is the mission of Mineola Union Free School District, committed to inspire each student onward to a life-long learner sense of nurturing, pursuing excellence on students who exhibit strength of character, contributing positively to a global society.
The Mineola School District has established a number of procedures to respond to questions parents and students ask about the quality of the educational services and other concerns, such as expectations for conduct on school property and at school functions, regarding elementary, middle school or high school programs.
This district provides summer school classes for students in grades 6, 7, and 8. For 6th grade students, there is a reading and math summer program, by invitation only, and offered during the month of July, while other graders can attend classes in a specific content area such as English, Spanish, math, sciences, social studies etc.
Summer school is open to students who are English or Spanish Language Learners or those who are receiving special education services. |
