Sag Harbor School District
Since the late 18th century, the Sag Harbor Union Free School offers many academic and social activities to the entire community, including a Boy Scout Troop, and the program Youth Advocacy and Resource Development (Y.A.R.D),
The district's thriving educational system was founded in 1788, and the Sag Harbor Elementary School was the first school on eastern Long Island, which integrated a full-day kindergarten program. This Elementary School was recently selected as a New York State School of Excellence, but all the academic programs and district's facilities were recently modernized. Sag Harbor's community is encouraged to use all the schools facilities to ensure their maximum utilization.
