Located in the village of Valley Stream, in southwest Nassau County, Valley Stream Central High School District is one of only 3 New York State Districts covering grades 7-12 exclusively. The district has approximately 4,500 students divided in Junior High school for grades 7-9, Senior High School for grades 10-12 and two other schools combining junior and senior high schools systems.
