Giblyn provides interdisciplinary instruction that relates to the youngsters who are anthropologists and ambassadors at Giblyn have the excitement of being, in effect, world travelers. Even the youngest world travelers enjoy great works of literature, foreign language studies, international music and art, cultural assemblies and festivals, and artist-in-residence programs. The theme builds on the student's various cultural backgrounds and on successful team efforts that already exist in the school. As a Paideia School, Giblyn’s Socratic Seminars and coached projects relate each of the subject areas to each other and to worldwide concerns and current events. |

My experience with this school has been a horrible experience. The staff is very unprofessional and students don’t learn very much... When we moved to the Roslyn District she was so behind…Good luck if you pick this school and or this neighborhood……Ms. Jackson

I went to Giblyn school from 1981-1985. I remember what a great experience I had but what I remember most was my first grade teacher Mrs. Dorothy "Dot" Erickson, I found her about 10 years ago but lost contact. She is the woman who helped me believe I can be whatever I want in life so iI decided to be a teacher just like her. If anyone has any information that could help me find her again please contact me. kflowers017@aol.com |
