| Clara H. Carlson School is the second largest elementary setting in the Elmont Union Free School District. Housing approximately 38 classes, the Carlson School offers a variety of curricular and extra-curricular activities designed to help students meet and surpass New York State Learning Standards. Programs such as morning and afternoon tutorial sessions, Writer’s Workshop, Reader’s Workshop, Computer Club, Dance Club, Literary Magazine Club, Peer Mediators Club, Garden Club, Library Club, Safety Patrol, JazzMaster’s Workshop, and Student Government are just a few of the enrichment and/or intervention programs implemented at the school on a daily basis. |

I love the school is grate I love it the techers are funny and some are serius and I like my techer mr cavaliere he is very funny he macks the class lafh and mr rosiner is a funny prinsible he will mack every body lafy I want to know wen the school was born befor I was born I new that the school was the same and that's why people need to make people clean after them selfe and I am to shy to be prisden or vice prisednt it is to hard but it will be cool . |

The school is excellent. The new principal is involved in every aspect of the school. He has brought a calm to the building. The teachers there are great. |
