Terryville Elementary School

Terryville Road Elementary School is a kindergarten through fifth grade school that serves a population of approximately 565 students in the Comsewogue School District. We are dedicated to creating a learning environment that is safe and nurturing and enables our students to meet the demands of a changing, dynamic society.

Terryville participates in the Literacy Collaborative Program which is a classroom based comprehensive program designed to increase literacy achievement for all students by providing a framework of reading, writing and word study practices. In addition, we have two Reading Recovery teachers who enhance the Literacy Collaborative Program and work with the lowest achieving first grade students for an intensive twenty week session.
