| The Massapequa High School – Ames Campus is home to over 650 students. As a “ninth grade only” building, this type of school is fairly new to Long Island, and the Ames Campus offers the best of both worlds to Massapequa’s freshmen as they begin their high school careers. By providing an environment filled with minimal distractions, Ames establishes a positive tone for the students as they take on the rigorous standards mandated by the New York State Department of Education.
